We are holding space for the stories not often heard during the Thanksgiving season. To uplift, celebrate and resource indigenous people who are still here in the Bay Area today. And to slow down and express gratitude to the land and history that have made this place our home.

We stand with our Asian American colleagues and friends across the region, who are calling attention to and condemning the racist, classist messaging that many of us have seen across recent local campaigns.

The Board of Directors of SOMOS Mayfair (SOMOS) appointed Victor Vasquez and Saúl Ramos as Co-Executive Directors during a public vote, recognizing the leadership the two have shown as Interim Co-Directors over the last six months.

Excite Credit Union, Latino Business Foundation Silicon Valley, and SOMOS Mayfair will participate in the grand opening of Quetzal Gardens on Wednesday, June 29. The three community-service organizations will be ground floor tenants of the recently completed Quetzal Gardens affordable housing complex in East San Jose.

After 40 years of delayed justice, the Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 to pursue closing the Reid-Hillview airport and remove lead-based fuel from the airport

With a sense of urgency, we demand greater accountability from leaders and more investment in systems of community care. We will always advocate for community-led solutions: those who are most impacted by systems should be at the decision-making table, with their experiences centered and uplifted.

Healthier Kids Foundation Santa Clara generously visited and gave check-ups to all the kids at the Painter co-op.
