Gracias a la Vida 2018

We did it!

We had the Fund Development team strategizing, community members attending trainings, our speakers writing speeches, staff members cutting flowers and building centerpieces, and so much more behind-the-scenes taking place in the months leading up to this year's Gracias. 

Gracias a la Vida is SOMOS Mayfair's annual fundraiser. It gives us a chance to look back on our year in review, to cast vision for what is to come, and to meet face to face with all of the incredible organizations, funders, community members, family and friends who invest in our work and support what we do all throughout the year. 

Our theme was "Windows of Change," and it was an honor to share the exciting things taking place in Mayfair--- especially because so many in the room were the very people who make our programs possible.

Our keynote speaker was Jacky Franco, a superstar Promotora who shared how she has walked through all 4 of SOMOS' "Windows of Change" (Leadership Development, Community Organizing, Early Education, Economic Opportunity) in the past 2 years.
